I've downloaded most of the max ed tutorals and figured most of it out.. I'm modding some cool levels (one of my house just for kicks)
i'm still trying to get actorfx to work for me but no luck i'm getting 3dstudiomax and milkshape..

Can't i just use my lightwave6?

I've got adome photoshop 6 & 7 with the image ready progs and i just ordered paint shop.. can anyone piont me to a few good skinning tools?

I have so manny ideas running through my head right now.

Like a spider-man max payne skin *can i get hi to spin webs, swing around and crawl walls? (likely not)*

i'm a newbie at all of this so you gotta apreacieate the fresh outlook i have on this.

hopefully soon with pratice i'll get as good or better at this then you...

I wouldn't worry too much about Actor FX, Milkshape can weight vertices just as well; plus you can create models and animations with it too. Although, given the choice, I'd use 3ds Max.

You could probably use lightwave for modelling, provided that you can export as . 3ds or .obj into Milkshape or 3ds max; then you can export the final model into max payne's kf format.

I doubt wall crawling would work as well in Max Payne as you'd like. Usually the best ideas are the ones that stick closely to the original formula but change it slightly. In fact, with MP2 so close to release, it's hardly worth starting anything big for mp1 at this stage.

If you want some Max Payne specific tutorials try these sites:

Best of luck. images/icons/smile.gif

MPHQ had some tutorials about modelling stuff in MaxED.

(And please, double check your posts, it takes way too much time to understand one sentence.)
