Can't figure out last level

I am stuck at the last part of the game. After I chase Val up the long flight of stairs and you come out at the top it goes to a cut sceen. After the sceen is done I shoot one of the wires and it then goes to another cut sceen. A bunch guys come running out and I gun them all down. I then shoot the other wire and it goes immediately to another cut sceen and then I die!

If I don't shoot anything nothing happens.

Can anyone help me and let me know what I am doing wrong if anything?

I think the problem is , are you in new york minute mode , you die when time runs out ?? (if not i'm sorry) cause i don't know whatelse it could be.

after you shoot both wires, you have to shoot at the tower to knock it over

you shoot both ropes..then i shot it with the m79 and the game ends

Yeah (not so) Flyboy, do you really think a heavy steel mast that's set in concrete is gonna do something amazing just because all the supporting tension cables have snapped? Come on man, think, use that brain: "I need to help that mast topple over myself".
The only thing is, you've got to do everything within a set time limit, i.e., before the helicopter takes off, so if you've saved your game with about two seconds to go before you fail, then hard cheese (and stuff).
