Stuck in chapter 1 part 4

Hi,

I have cleared out the bar, I have moved on - cleared the reception area, cleared first floor, and jumped through the roof window down to clear the room with a pile of boxes - in that room there are two locked doors, but i can't open them

When you jump down off the boxes; you will kill some thugs. THEN you go back to the reception desk and press the exit button. You'll hear some noise or ringing and those two doors will open and you exit the level.

Hi,
I am in the exact same position as the above poster, I jumped from the roof to the boxes, cleared the room, and pressed the EXIT button, I heard the ringing sound, but the doors are still locked! Helpppppp! Thank-you images/icons/cool.gif

when you hit the exit switch, make it back to the two doors as quickly as possible or they will close again. Trust me on this, it works. I was also stuck there myself.

Thanks shaman!! It worked, now I found my way into the Hotel thru the basement, and the cops are calling me-out, and I need a key to split......okay, where do I find the key? Thanks!!-me images/icons/cool.gif

Just grab it and go. If you hang around, the cops will open fire on you. images/icons/shocked.gif

Awright, I can't get back to the pawnshop to get the key cause of the fire blocking the way I got in, and I looked all around for it before I even went into the hotel......so where is the key actually located anyway? Thanks-me images/icons/confused.gif

I think I know what you're referring to. You mean that the front enterance to the pawn shop is blocked off. However, there is another way into the pawn shop that takes you in the area that was fenced off from you when you came in the front enterance. You will see the key on the shelf. Don't read the note on the counter before you get the key or else the police will arrive through the front enterance and start shooting at you through the cage.

Yeah and for some strange reason, you can't shoot thru the metal screen, but the cops can.
