Alex wasn't really killed, it turns out he was shot in the leg. Near the end we see him limping down the street. He slowly loses his limp and begins to walk normally and you realise he's Keyser Soze and killed Max's family after all. graemlins/hhg.gif

Oh, for Cripesfrookensakes!! Here is the real ending:

After 10-12 hours of nonstop lead spitting rampage, Max finally gets his revenge. But wait! A bug in the game chopped off the truly final end cutscene: Max turns and whispers into the cops' ears, they understand completely, and release him with a pat on the back. He then proceeds to the nearest 24 hour drugstore, a chain owned by Miss Horne herself, and now that she's dead the man behind the counter nods with firm conviction at the man who had just gone through hell to get what he had been desperate to find all night: laxatives.

Final shot: Max sitting on the can reading a copy of Captain Baseball Bat Boy, his face finally freed of that signature tightness we've all come to love.

When blood splattered all over the floor, beneath Max, I nearly s**t a brick, because i thought it was him bleeding to death... then I saw one of the dead hot dogs nearby and saw it was just ketchup...

I love when Miss Horne gets into the German fighter jet, and Max lobs over a Dog-Grenade, or a sausage if you will, and tomato sauce goes all over the screen, then she crashes coz shes half assed drunk from all the Voddie she been consuming.

Best bit: Where Max turns around and goes, "Finally, I'm free from my own Hell", then a bark catches him off guard and he soilds himself... brilliant...

max finally sees nicole horn for the first time and they fall in love with eachother. they take off in the helicopter and go on a wild and sex filled vacation to her own private resort. after 2 weeks of fun filled SEX you return, only to find that she was really your long lost mom.

after relizing this max goes crazy, and jumps off a bridge. instantly killing him.

Simply put, Max Payne finds out he's actually a Replicant. He and Rachel escape to an unknown location because the Government who set him up, needs to kill him, because Payne now knows his true orgin, thus knowing too much. Perfect setup for a sequel.

Max finds out that his world is a hoax, an elaborate computer program run by robots of the future.........and most importantly..........that there is no spoon..........but incase you havent figured it out yet, im lying, the are wet towels, coffee cups, and hotdogs....afetr almost an hour of melee combat with the wet towel, the hot dog falls, squirting ketchup and mustard everywhere, enraging the expresso machine, which then shoots coffee cups at you which you have to dodge by using shoot-dodges, then while its reloading you have to shoot the buttons until it dies....thats when Woden comes in and you have a long melee until he cuts off your hand & tells you that he is your father, and that Candy Dawn is your mother.

AFTER Max defeats the hotdogs with the wet towels, escapes the espresso, finds out Horne is really Woden, who turns out to be his father, and soils himself from the bark, he and Butch hold up in a building with the Bolivian army waiting outside. At the count of 3, they rush out, guns a-blazing. VERY cool.
