Hi, images/icons/smile.gif

tga is an image filetype, but only a few image editors can open them. Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, and a few of their clones tend to work. However, they're quite expensive (although psp5 was recently given away for free on a pc format coverdisc recently).

A very powerful and free image editor, called The GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) , can also read the targa image format. You can download it here (http://www2.arnes.si/~sopjsimo/gimp/) - you need to download and install the two files under the heading 'Main'.

You can then use it to convert the files into jpeg format.

If you just need to look at the pictures and not edit them, I'd suggest ACDSee, it supports pretty much all different image formats (tho' it doesn't display all TIFF files right). You can find it atleast at Tucows (http://www.tucows.com/).

It's also good for viewing a bunch of pictures fast to see if there were any good ones.

First of all, hello guys, I'm new here! I've got a question: I know how to take screenshots, but I don't know how to see them. They don't appear like an image file, but like a TGA file and when I try to see them, the program says it doesn't support this kind of file. Can anyone help me?
