Although this sounds abit one sided... what really happened? Well that's if you don't mind me asking.

I don't think inner workings in a company is really considered our business images/icons/smile.gif There was a guy who was on trial period in Remedy who contacted me in 2001 too, and was pissed at the company because he felt he was treated unfairly and was "fired". He also mean that the algorithms for calculating radiosity lighting was mostly his images/icons/smile.gif And I'm pretty sure the success of Remedy makes it even harder to boil it down to only the best individuals. Letting people go is hard enough, most company's just move people around or something, can't do that in a small company.

On that note, yes it's very one-sided, as the guy who contacted me was. But it's still probably true, and I'm sure a lot happen that we don't know or need to know.

Seems to me like it's indeed one sided. It's still pretty interesting stuff about Remedy's founder.

I think I saw this interview already in 2001 for the first time. It's old news, history, already, and all issues have been settled to everyone's satisfaction.

Bixen, on the radiosity stuff, nobody who's worked on that has left Remedy. We have the same guy, Jaakko Lehtinen, who started doing it (in 1997?) still here. And hope to keep him for a loong time images/icons/smile.gif

Markus, Co-Founder, Remedy <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Well I'm not quite sure what he meant, it was probably some calculations he claimed to do, but as I "know" Jaakko (from the net) I know that he's the MaxED guru, and this new guy was supposedly only going to start work on MaxED, but things didn't work out that well. Anyway, I don't think it's more intrigue than any other company, so people that are expecting some "Bold & Beautiful" drama here is probably going to be dissappointed images/icons/wink.gif Small companies are like this, I am in one.
