yet another weird thing on "fear that gives men wings".
once you cross the first pipeline and you jump in to the second apartment where they're watching "address unknown", once you go out the living room door the hall is blocked with shelves and if you get through that somehow, the stairs have collapsed. in fact they're the same collapsed stairs as the ones you see once you find the guy who helps you into the laundry. so there are stranded people in max payne eh? ok they're not totally stranded they could go to the apartment across the pipeline but still!
