Isn't it kind of futile to be in love with a nonexistent character? I mean, they are just computer-generated characters. Masses of polygons and pixels. What's so attractive about polygons and pixels?

most of the characters in mp1 are based off the real-life ppl from remedy and their relatives i have heard elsewhere. so all the ppl you see in the game have been photoscanned to be in mp1 n maybe feature in mp2.

there were only 5 ladies- yes 5 in mp1.
max's wife-dead
the chick that gives the guy head before max storms in n has the gal running up to the corner of bar n shoot max.
mona sax- existed only in graphic novel
mona sax's sis- dead as you see her lying on the bed in the mansion level
nicole horne-the bitch you go after in the end of the game
it would be great if there were enemy chicks in mp2 not just have male baddies cos there were only 5 in mp1 n having 2 gun down every guy that looked the same as the last few others in the last levels you played. id like to see sum variety in how the baddies look and wear in the next mp game.

All persons in Max Payne 2 will presumably be real actors, except hopefully Sam Lake (and maybe Vlad and Woden since we've already seen them and they may be vital)

They are based on real persons that acted also in the graphic novel.<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">That still doesn't make them real, since the characters' personalities and events are still created by the scriptwriter.

Unless, of course, you're a superficial type who merely falls for the looks of a character. images/icons/smile.gif
