Part 2 prologue - help!

I know this has been asked many times before, but with the blood dream in part two I am rapidly going round the bend!
I can't find a blood trail to follow: just the short blood-red corridors that end in space.
I have tried listening for the baby sound, but that doesn't seem to help, and I still die every time I move out of the corridor.
Is there more than one corridor, and if so how do I find the one I want....and has anyone any positive clue (as opposed to "keep trying and you'll get there) that can help me get past this real-life nightmare , and back to the game.

As far as I know, there is only one corridor. It's blue with clouds and towards the end of the corridor, the wallpaper is covered in blood.

The quickest way to get there is (from the start) to turn left at every junction.

Eventually, you'll end up back in Max's house. When you get to your kid's room, the corridors start to stretch again.

When you get to the end of the corridor, look down. You should see a thin strip of blood, a bit like string, the width of Max's foot. If you can't see it, you may want to adjust your contrast and brightness settings. Also, turing off the fog might help, also. The exit is another corridor, similar to the one you came through. It's some distance to the left, you wont see it at the start, but remember that it's to the left of where you began.

And guess what? There's another of these levels later!

Thanks for the response. At least by turning off the fog I have actually seen one of the corridors for the first time! But I still can't see the thin line of blood, and at the end of the corridors where the blood is on the wall there's just a vast space with falling red specks and once I step out of the corridor I fall to my death. I have tried adjusting brightness and contrast, but I can only assume I am in the wrong place. Also once I have got past the first maze to get into the house, I can't find any junctions, just corridors! I think I may be going mad, so any further help would be gratefully received!!

Nope, you're in the right place. When you get to the black space, look straight down at your feet (at the black space not the floor). There should be a red path of blood, quite big, but still small enough to fall off. Use bullettime to prevent you from making sudden movements, and quick save often. graemlins/hhg.gif

Thanks Maddieman - I appreciate the help, but my problem is still that I can't see the blood lines. I know it's there, because I can walk out of the corridor for a short distance before falling, but I have tried everything I can think of to see them (changed brightness,contrast,fogging etc) and it's just black space and those falling red drops. Is there anything I have missed, or failing that is there anyway I can bypass this section?
