Is there any chance that 3D Realms might distribute the new ROTT ports? If nothing else, it would make a nice bonus for a future game *hint hint* images/icons/smile.gif

I'd highly doubt it images/icons/wink.gif .

Define "distribute". Do you mean put them on a CD and sell them? No, we're not interested in that.
We'll link to them; that kind of thing, but we're not a fan mod distributor. images/icons/smile.gif

I didn't mean distributing the mods, but simply distributing a basic port of ROTT to Windows or Linux, so that people who couldn't play ROTT otherwise would have a chance.
I'm guessing that 3D Realms wouldn't do this, but I can always hope, can't I?

How about hosting compiled executables on your web site? The ROTT fans could download them from 3DR instead of some obscure website.

Nevertheless I seriously doubt this will happen.. Just buy the game and download the port when one is released.
