I've been hearing about some win 32 ports of ROTT with high res support, Is any one going to release one of these builds, or is everybody going to waste time working on GL build that will be lacking and unfinished for 18 months?

If I'm bored I may put together a 2xSai build at some point, but it doesn't look like you're going to get a high-res one for ages otherwise.

He doesn't want a 3D Accelerated version of ROTT, he wants a Hi-res version. 640x480 instead of 320x240 (did I get that resolution right?)
I would like to have a hi-res Win32 version as well. In order for the GL version to look any good at all, they are going to have to create all the models, upgrade all the graphics and build the engine. It is probably going to take a while to get that out.
In the meantime it would be nice to have a 640x480 version that loads external files. I don't know enough C to make my own game (I am learning though).
I am a little suprised that there doesn't seem to be any interest in ROTT apart from the GL version. At least publicly.

I totally agree with KRURSK a Hi Res version would suit Rott much better, I been playing a bit of Blood 1 in Hi Res and it truely has its moments where it looks damn fine at 640 X 400 and higher. Open gl might wash/blur the characters in Rott too much.

Isn't someone already making a 3D accelerated ROTT port?

We had a working 640x480 version a while back but it still needed some tweaking. I'll dig around a little and maybe we'll release a patch against our 1.0 source to make it 640x480.
