Thanks to GP32 Spain (http://www.gp32spain.com) for the news.
There is a rather low quality video of it running here:
VIDEO LINK (http://www.gp32spain.com/videos.php?tipo=Ports&tipo2=Rise_of_the_Triad_Beta_2&pagina=lista)

A few notes about the video. It is running on a non-lit GP32, thats why it is dark, but cameras never really show the full brightness of reflective TFTs, so it would be better in real life as well.

Also, you can change clock speeds on the GP32. That port is running at 40mhz, the slowest possible clock. You can overclock the GP32 to 133mhz, and sometimes even 156-166mhz. 133mhz is the maximum supported speed.

Progress seems to be coming along really nicely, I wouldnt be surprised if there was a release in a week or two.

Questions that will inevitably be asked in this thread
-----------------------

WHAT IS A GP32

It is a handheld similar in shape to the original GBA. It has a pretty speedy ARM processor that can clock from 40-133mhz, and a 320x240 16 bit colour TFT screen which. It can be purchased in frontlit, or non frontlit models from www.gbax.com (http://www.gbax.com) .

The idea behind the GP32 is that it is an open development gaming platform. Many thihgs have been ported or created for it, including many emulators, a Doom port, a Wolfenstein 3d port, and a Heretic port is coming soon.

Visit www.gp32x.com (http://www.gp32x.com) for more info.

How did they get around the copyright issues of not being able to alter/recompile the Data files? Does the GP32 have a filesystem on there?

That was the main thing that stopped my production of the Gameboy Advanced port.

The GP32 has a fat12 file system. It uses smart media cards for storage.
