I hated the levels where he was drugged. They made no sense whatsoever to me. It took me a half-hour to figure it out. Although it was a great game these levels really sucked. Anyways I was just wondering if anybody else felt this way. And if you didn't then what level did you hate/love the most? My favorite level was the subway.

drug/dream maps added so much to the story imho. sure, most players (who didnt like em) were all about the shooting. but if you take your time to read through the comics and get into the whole plot, those nightmare maps become really cool. i dunno, i finsihed all of them within 5 minutes so they didnt get boring.

i myself loved the whole aesir complex the most. especially at the end when you get higher and higher above the ground and the wind gets louder and louder i think the atmosphere was at its top.

I used to hate the drug levels but as I replayed the game over and over again I started liking them. If they weren't here, I think that we would have missed a pretty cool part of the storyline.

The blood mazes seem like a huge pain in the butt, but they aren't that hard, actually. Once you've saw the map of the blood mazes you see that they're pretty simple actually. There's very few dead ends in them and you'll end up in the right path sooner or later.

I am definitely a "shoot first, ask questions later" type of playa, but it was nice playing a game with a good story, for once. images/icons/smile.gif

I liked the way the story was displayed in the game, ( radio tv, dreams, etc. ) The best part was a lot of the story had pictures! \o/ graemlins/love.gif

Why? They are a good addition for the story...the first time I played those levels I could feel Maxs pain... images/icons/rolleyes.gif

I disliked the subway level the most, because of the horrible storytelling when Alex was shot. Other than that, I don't recall any of the levels being really bad.

I guess I was lucky, because I just "ran" through the blood mazes and didn't have any trouble with them. The "I'm in a game", "I'm in a comic" parts were cool.

I thot Deep Six was fairly cliche images/icons/smile.gif I think a shootout in the restaurant with a crime boss of the Don's would have been better! And then the place gets torched. But that's just my opinion.

The dopped-up level filled the story with confusing elements which make you question the purity of Max, like when you're shooting yourself, I liked them.

Best level for me is the rooftops while chasing Gognitti.Worst level is the last only because I didn't get the chance to shoot the hag myself images/icons/mad.gif .

I hope we'll be able to kill Gognitti in MP2...

I wasn't too keen on the levels in episode 3. Level traps like platforms, lava images/icons/tongue.gif , lasers, etc were more of a pain in the arse -- and detracted from the gameplay, imo.

The dream sequences were cool the first couple of times through but get a little tedious now. I usually skip them.
One of the best levels is the parking garage. You can do a lot of things differently each time you're there to make the game interesting.

I hated the Cold Steel levels. After playing through all those fantastic new york locations, I felt Cold Steel was taking me out of that world and dumping me into a fairly standard FPS game.
