Hey guys, I'm 100% new here, so flame me gently for asking this:
Will there be Max Payne 2 demo?
Sorry if this has been asked before.

no, im guessing because the game is going to be released in about 4 or 5 days so it would be pointless

A demo of the game has been confirmed. In fact, Remedy is working on it right now. Though we don't know for sure when it will be out, i reckon it should appear 2-4 weeks after MP2 is out.

you do know what a demo's purpose is right? for possible consumers to playtest themselves and then decide if it's good enough to buy or not. and not everyone buys a game the first day it gets released.
a demo will be perfect for people who have doubts and have the patience to wait.

as you all know, MP1's demo didn't get released until three weeks after MP1.

Everyone wont buy Max Payne 2 the day it comes out some people want to try the demo before buying the game and know that they are spending their hard earned money on a quality product

If they are uncertain wether the game will run well on their systems they might want to check the demo first.

I have preordered MP2 6 months ago, so I get it in same day it comes out, but I would like to have demo before european release because then I could play it while waiting final version.

Because quite a bit of work actually goes in to making a demo and they've been concentrating their efforts on getting the full game finished first. Now that's done with the full game they can turn their attention to making a demo.

Yeah I don't know how the people who made the software could test the quotes and see it cutting sh|t down to 1 word per line and call it good.
I mean, stuff doesn't even have to be quoted that many times before people will start to see that the quotes are smashing their text up into really thin pieces.
Anyway, is there any unofficial guess at when we might be able to look forward to a demo? Before the end of the month? Later?

Yes. I would appreciate if dark_angel did not post information that is just pure guessing. It is too much hassle then trying to straighten things out afterwards.

At this point it is better to rely on the word of your importer (or retailers). Just ask them if the info is recent.
