Sure, I'll just first have to figure out a way to explain it without ruining the joke. Explaining a joke usually ruins it, you know. http://www.modplug.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/ohwell.gif

Hmmm...yeah, that's tricky. Maybe by reminding that the 'language' in the panel is not exactly English? Run with that. images/icons/wink.gif

Made one this morning:

(In case you're wondering, that's from the computer Max finds in the Deep Six describing Project Valhalla and Valkyr.)

I'll work on some more later. images/icons/wink.gif

I know that isn't the exact font, but which did you use?

I couldn't find one that was close to the font used, so I manually copied and pasted the individual characters to make the words. images/icons/frown.gif

I use Anim Ace (it's the coolest out of the gazillions of comic fonts I have)-- www.dafont.com/en/ (http://www.dafont.com/en/) is where I got it.

I do not follow. images/icons/confused.gif <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">graemlins/brickwall.gif must... not... explain... the joke... gnngnn...

Take a look at the two translations posted by Baskinator, and see how they differ from the one you posted. See the difference?

What you posted isn't really a translation... it's a different kind of parody that explores a different realm of humour. It would work much better if posted under another topic.

Just FYI, Basky. It's spelled FAGORT (that is, with only one G). images/icons/smile.gif

SkavenRMD

Are you sure? Google reveals 79 instances of "FAGGORT" and 169 instances of "FAGORT" - and about 58 000 instances of "FAGOT".

On the other hand, FAGGORT = teh funnayer then FAGORT or FAGOT.

Someone should publish an official spelling guide...

If you insist on it, I'll make a thread right now.

IMO, I don't see why the two can't be in the same thread, they don't differ that much. They both make teh funnies. images/icons/confused.gif

I forgot to mention that before, anyway. I don't want to take all the "teh funnay" credit from him.

For what it's worth at this point, the idea was loosely based on Tales for the l33t (http://uninteresting.myby.co.uk/noeffort).

Everyone is welcome to make these comics, y'know. It's a group activity! Get your construction paper, glitter, macaroni and safety scissors and have a ball!

I want to make some, but does anyone know of a util to rip out the graphic novel pages?

Yes I would like to know that as well. Do you simply make snapshots of them or is there an other method to do so?

I just use screenshots.
