My friend came over the orher day and we were playing Max Payne on Xbox and he said that a lot of stuff was cut out. Like a fight between max and the 5-0.

Why was material cut out of the console version??? images/icons/mad.gif

yeah... he said there that a bunch of police come after you and you have to kill them or something. also, you have to actually jump of the moving train yourself, its not a movie...

I can't remember for sure whether or not you had to initiate the train jump on the XBox version, but I thought you did. Other than that, I have both versions, and they seemed pretty similar to me, although I absolutely loved controlling Max with a gamepad. That's probably just me, but I like 3rd person action on a controller more than a mouse/keyboard.

PimpinMrT: You have to jump on the train, not off it. And I don't remember killing any cops either in the PC version. Your friend is just full of it.

Your friend is full of shit. period. I would fill his house with gasoline, karosine, and a rubber cat for good measure, take a flare gun and when he pulls in , shoot the flare gun at the rubber cat, the house will explode and then you can climb on top of the rubble and scream "VICTORY". Thats what i would do.

I probably wasted few bullets in the XBox version than the PC version. Strafing was a dream, and that made running around whacking people with the bat glorious. Don't get me wrong, I love the PC version, too, if for nothing else than at least for the mods, but it controlled very well on the gamepad, at least for me.
