Stuck in beginning of Part III

I'm in the beginning of Part III where I wake up in the hospital and there's a bad guy outside the door and I have no weapons. I've gotten out of the room into a very dark room upstairs. I have searched the entire floor (dying VERY often) and I can't find the security guard's gun. Can anyone help???

When the Security Guard has been shot, run over and his gun should be there at the doorway, or try to run into the corridor that he came from and see if the gun is near the door, but it should definetly (spelling?) be there.

If I'm reading this right, you need to hide for a moment (I usually go to the "office" nearest the other door. the SWAT looking guy will try and find you and the guard will bust in. Try that. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yeap. When you bump the guy with the door, run upstairs and go hide in the dark cubicle area.
