Well, this is my first post in a long while. I use to be registered, back in the days before MP was released. It is good to be back.
The boards seem to be pretty much the same as before. Ahhh... Teh old days. I first came to thesde forums when PC Gamer first released those screens back in 1998(I think August?).
I see a few of you are still here. I remember RollingBrass and bixen. I remember the name Quender, but I didn't see any posts by him recently.
Well, I figured since most of you guys don't know me, I'd share some of the good memories from the old days.
The boards didn't have very many frequent posters, if i remember. It really started to heat up when Max Payne was a few monthsto release. I think that is when the "What about Moving?" post came up.
I remember that in one of the many threads, someone ended up calling Skavena name. I think it was Skabies. Somebody looked it up and it meant crabs (not the beach kind). I'm sure at least Skaven will remember that one.
I also remember thinking that bixen was a guy for a long time. !Sorry! I also remember her getting in trouble for the PCG scans you put up around e3 2000.
By the way, is anybody still here from the old days? (I'm talking way before MP went gold).
Well, I can bet that once Max Payne 2 gets in to a few mags, more noobs will come in and inevitably get flamed (unless of course this board has matured since my absence)

not the other way around. it sounds too repetetive. I heard that Take2 has the authority of deciding the title.
It is good to be back.

Also , who is The Baskinator? I don't remember her/him (sorry bixen) when I was here before. He/she seems to be the forum god from what I've read so far. Joe promising her a part in MP2 (i hope he was bieng sarcastic.)
One last memory: I remember one of the forum moderators (Skaven, Joe maybe even George Broussard) posting a pic of their desktop with the Start menu open to Max Payne. It was before MP was released, and made the wait (4years) a little more unbearably. (NHF of course)
