In one of the dream sequences later in the game, as you walk by one of the walls, there's a message that says "she has dyed her hair red". What? This is one message I wasn't able to figure out.

It acutally comes up 2 or 3 times, im stumped on this one too, thou.

Edit After thinking maybe this is more of the reference that he orginally thought Mona was dead. Seems I remember this in the first dream too. Which fits with him saying in the elevator, I saw you get shot in the head.

Its in the funhouse, and is said by the Pink Flamingo in one of the dream sequences, but im as clueless as you on this one.

Well certianly wouldnt expcet to see Mona here on the board. Thou im sure if your at the hospital Mona shows up at and she was sufficantly tranq'd you would gladly adjust her zipper for her and tell us all about it, O I meant resusatate it for her http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Im happy with my guess, unless someone comes up with a more intreging reason for her having Red Hair.

Must be a reference to her "death" in the first game. What else can it be? No other female characters in the series had red hair that I am aware of. Hmmmmm.

I think Nicole Horne had red hair, for the record. Check the picture of her in the "Previously" thingie from the Max Payne 2 main menu.

Yeah hers was but she didnt really have any role in this game NONE. I really dont thinkits refering to her, why invole her in the dream no relavance.

They never really addressed how Max's daughter died, and Michelle was shot in the stomach and the chest, not the head.

Well, it might not have anything to do with Max at all. I mean, it was from the first episode of Address Unknown:

"John Mirra came to mock me in the bathroom mirror. The flamingo was with him." <font color="pink">"Mirrors are more fun than television"</font> "Mirra claimed my girlfriend had turned evil, joined him." <font color="pink">"she has dyed her hair red"</font>

A lot of the tv shows and other details in the game seem to work their way into his dreams, for example, the whole "buried under the rosebush" thing from the police station.

I got hte impression that the Address Unknown was a Mimic or Metorphical take on Max's story, anyway.
