So the NYPD must have had quite a cleanup job by the time Max Payne was over; can anyone give us a tally of just how many dope fiends, mafia thugs, killer suits, and crooked cops Max guns down?

If I had to guess, I'd say.. 300 or so. But maybe someone knows better than I.

It depends on what game mode you're playing, and how good you are - the game adjusts itself based on how well, or how poor, you're playing.

Well, obviously you can't give a single number that spans all game modes, but how about an "in excess of" number, just to give a ballpark?

And let's assume levels are cleared out, though of course it's possible to complete the game without killing everyone on the level.
