Okay, I saw this on an old topic before and I thought that it would be a great idea if it was done again.
I think everybody on this website should post their support and cheers for Remedy who are obviously working there butts off for all of us.
Especially after some of the unfair comments (made by me included) about Max Payne's new face.

So here I'll go first!
I want to first congradulate Remedy, 3DRealms, and everybody else on the first Max Payne. You guys did such a wonderful job. I mean, to say that even is an understatement!

I also want to say that I am so happy you guys are making a second Max Payne game. From what I've seen so far you guys are doing a fantastic job! I can't wait until it comes out!

I respect everything you do and trust that every decision you make is an important and beneficial one! I am behind you guys 110%.

Finally, I hope that everybody on this website will post a few kind words! If you don't have anything nice to say I think you should keep it to yourself and get off this website! Especially this topic, no dissing here! Just love, encouragement and support! images/icons/smile.gif Thank you!
Bye for now!

I think the last one I made went to 8 pages. I think we can top that! I've said before and I'll say it again, Remedy has created the most visceral action packed game ever. Even after many MANY copy cat games like Enter The Matrix and Dead To Rights tried to steal some of Max Payne's thunder, it STILL is the best. They just can't touch the simple control setup of Payne or the awesome slo-mo gun battles...

...Bring on the sequel!

They both have plenty of support, and I'll give them some more when their game is for sale.

They will always have my support. I believe MP2 will be a masterpiece as the first one. images/icons/smile.gif

All I can say is that I love Max Payne. Max Payne is the final product of much hard work, as the second one will no doubt be. I don't know what I would be doing if Max Payne didn't exist. I certainly wouldn't be on these forums, which I enjoy so much. I am really impressed with what they are doing with Max Payne 2 to make it a more enjoyable experience for all of us. My regards go out to Remedy for all their hard work, and especially having to deal with us all the time. I bought a new computer for Max Payne and either this weekend or the next, I will be upgrading again for Max Payne 2 (and HL2, but thats not what this post is about, is it?).

Words cannot express how much I appreciate you guys not dying on the job in some freak coffee/power supply accident.

Max Payne was an awesome game. Enter the Matrix pretty clearly had ripoff-esque qualites. If they'd presented it as "influenced by" or "an homage to" or something, it would have been fine, but the developers and community of that game pretend that it was all original and that Max Payne had no influence whatsoever on how it came to be what it is.

I never played Dead to Rights, but I heard it wasn't that good. Much the same way that The Getaway come out not long after GTA3 and didn't do particularly well. Half Grand Theft Auto and half Guy Ritchie; I guess it shows that good things don't always have good results when mixed.

As far as I am concerned, the release of Max Payne was the Messiah's first coming on the third person action games world. Not one like it before, not one like it ever since.

From the demoscene origins, through the garage-game like development and onto creating a brilliant example of great brainstorming, wise planning, and admirable execution. Congratulations to one of the most talented, passionate, devoted and original development houses on the business. Finland has got to be proud of having you guys! images/icons/wink.gif

Congratulations on making such awesome games and holding on to your principles (Great Pelit article!). Max Payne 2 will be the first game I get for my new computer. But I still have to wait a year until that images/icons/frown.gif .

I think I agree with everything written above images/icons/smile.gif

Yes, Max Payne raised the bar when it comes to game quality.

It is so much more than a game though, I feel like I'm waiting for the sequel to a film I've seen or a good book I've read. Finding out what happens is just as important as the actual playing of the game. I'm sure Remedy won't let us down images/icons/grin.gif

Roll on Max Payne 2!
