Body sounds?

Will the dead bodies in Max Payne 2 make a "thump" sound when they hit the ground after being shot?
I noticed in the HL2 video when gordon throws a grenade at an enemy and he comes flying, his body doesn't make any sound at all when hitting the ground. Same in Unreal2.. no sound there either.
So what about it?

I could be wrong but I think enemies in MP1 made a sound when they fell to the ground, already - same for the weapons.
So my guess would be - Yes.

Yeah, I think they made sounds in MP1.. But it seems like since ragdoll has become more common.. body sounds have become more rare.
I was thinking it might be a problem with having both ragdoll and body thump sounds... They even made sounds back in the Duke3D days but in new games like HL2, and Unreal2.. nothing.

lol HL2 is still in developement... you can't tell by now if they will include a specific sound... just wait and see.....

and, yes, there were body sounds in MP1...

I think it's 1.3 yeah. Great game that, I hate playing too much though so haven't played anything in a while (except Live for Speed).

In 1.3, it's fine. I like 1.3, it also tends to improve your framerate during large firefights.

You didn't know? They are in the level after the bonus level. After you go in the back room of the bonus level (unlocked after beating MP on Dead on Arrival) You walk into the remedy floaty sign thing and you get taken to the secret dog level. There are a bunch of dobermans that attack you. Then there is the boss dog that you have to fight after all the other dogs are dead. It is a poodle hyped up on Valkyr.

No joke. Try it.
