Just a question of you Max Payne fans.
Do you know of ONE single game that is anything like max payne in gameplay, storyline/plot etc etc??
Are there ANY out there at all??
Please tell if there are any! images/icons/tongue.gif
Thanks.
Shadey...........
"Dead to Rights" is a MP clone, but I've never tried it so I don't know if it's any good. I bet it's total shite, though.

Dead to Rights. But its sucks a fat one compared to MP. MP oWnZ over DtR. Its a big MP clone, without the detale. And you cant turnaround when in a shootdoge. It donkey ball linkin good. MP is BBQ ribs lickin good.

Dead To Rights isn't that bad. It really freaking hard, but it's not bad.
BloodRayne is no at all like Max Payne. Well, maybe a little, but I wouldn't recommend buying it or even renting it. It is one of the worst games ever. Rent Dead to Rights. And if you like cel-shaded craziness, try Gungrave. Not too similar in terms of story, or even gameplay, but it's still a kickass 3rd-person-shooter.

I heard that Enter the Matrix had some elements that were first introduced to the gaming community through Max Payne, but failed to do it as well as our Maxie.

True Crime (http://www.activision.com/en_US/game_screenshots/d53b670e-46ce-4b5c-a7b8-d571d40d4c0f.html) looks like it'll have some similarities to Max Payne. The games not out yet though.

Dead to Rights is not a bad game at all. Really awesome gunplay , I thought. The Xbox version I read is the most difficult.

True crime looks like it has some potential. Sort of a mix of grand theft auto and max payne. Could be good.
Dead to rights is...ok. not exceptional, htough. i rented it, but i wouldnt buy it.

I honestly don't think ANY game is like Max Payne, or will be like the up and coming Max Payne 2. I have read that when Max will be talking in MP2, his lips will move, etc. Now, If you look at the Game "Alone in the dark:the new nightmare"(if any of you have ever played it), when that guy and girl are in the plane, and they are flying to shadow island, they are talking, and their lips are moving, but they aren't in sequeuce with what they are saying. That was poorly done, if you ask me. And, I don't think they ever planned a sequel to it. The only game that possibly even came close to Max Payne as far as quality, was "Heavy Metal FAKK 2", but the last time I was in a video gaming store, they had it on the bargin bin shelf, for 10 dollars. Who knows, maybe Remedy is using something to make the Max Payne series so good, that they just aren't telling anyone about?? Could be. Just my thoughts, though. Let's hear yours.

Alone In the Dark was pretty cool, and I believe there's a sequel in the works. Or a movie anyway...

there are coming sequel and movie to/ of Alone in the Dark.
And as J orginaly stated Death to Rights is MP clone, I haven't played, but I have seen it played and that was enough for me.
And "True Crime Streets of LA" could be cool game with MP features if they manage to archieve what they have told to us.

Alone in the Dark 1 and 2 are some of the best scary games there is, along with Silent Hill. I can't speak for this new crap though, AITD3 was disappointing, I bet nr 4 is the same.

I have finished all REs and never even played any of AITDs until I recently downloaded demo of AITD4 and it seemed to be good game.
I played both, RE(specially the first one) is almost identical to AITD4.

I'm one of the few who has never played any of the Resident Evil games. I love zombie movies but after watching the pathetic piece of garbage (movie) based on the RE games, I was really turned off of 'em.
George Romero, if he hadn't been screwed out of the movie and replaced by that no-talent hack Paul Anderson, would have made a movie to crap yourself over. There are none to compare to him.
