Thats what all the people on Valkyr say. I guess they say it when there tripping. Who knows?
The "fallen angels" part is most likely a metaphor for the Valkyr addicts, (or pretty much anyone who can be considered "fallen" or defiled from a "pure" state).
The flesh of these "fallen angels" is quite obviously their lives, souls and wellbeing, that are lost.
So "the flesh of fallen angels" could be considered to be the sacrifice needed to make the people behind Valkyr filthy rich.
And oh, I'd have used fancier words for that, but I've been up for almost 24 hours and it's starting to be increasingly difficult to think straight. Wait, does that mean I'm thinking gay? Maybe I'll just sleep some.

No. All what it means is Valkyr made him crazy and satanic leading him to believe he had tasted the flesh of fallen angels making him sound evil. People tend to over analize things.

People who for some reason don't want to know that there are meanings in words and pictures other than those you first perceive. And that those meanings are most of the time actually put there by the creator, whether it's intentional or unconscious or just dumb luck doesn't really matter. Things always have a meaning. There's no such thing as over-analyzing.
EDIT: I'd suggest reading John Fiske's "Introduction to Communication Studies" should anyone be more interested on the subject. It'll make you look at movies/advertisements/everything on a whole different level.

Hehe, this really cracked me up one time. This Norwegian guy had written a really simple song, with really weirdly simple lyrics and so. These interviewers thought they had it all figured out, what it meant, if it was a metaphor for something and so on. And he was like, "wtf are you talking about, the text means what I say", had to laugh at that.
Wouldn't call this an over-analyzing though.

So it's there, in the work, for anyone to see. Maybe the creator didn't mean it to be, but he can't really help the fact that different people are going to read into his work differently.

Or is this another book? As that was the only book I could find by Fiske from my local Library.

Fallen Angels: Aesir and friends.
Flesh of Fallen Angels: Valkyr.
I Have Tasted the Flesh of Fallen Angels: I'm all shot up on Valkyr.
I have Tasted the Devil's Green Blood: I'm all shot up on Valkyr.
Devil's Green Blood: Valkyr.
She Is Coming: Nicole Horne is coming.
And Hell Follows With Her: And she has Valkyr.
What I think is that It's a metiphore for the role of Nicole horner. During Jack's rant, he talks about being some women's son. This women, I belive, is Nicole Horner. Technically, all the V-Heads are her sons (and daughters) because she basically is the person who is responsible for the distribution of Valkyr.

You know what? I never looked at the "Flesh of Fallen Angels" thing that way. It makes sense. Does Max Payne have any other metaphors that I don't know about? images/icons/smile.gif

Metaphors in Max Payne. Ah, think Thor here, people.
The Aesir Family :
The Aesir family of Gods were the chief gods of Norse Mythology...Odin, king of the gods. His two black ravens, Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory), flew forth daily to gather tidings of events all over the world. As god of war, Odin held court in Valhalla, where all brave warriors went after death in battle.
The Valkyries, were warrior maidens who attended Odin, ruler of the gods. The Valkyries rode through the air in brilliant armor, directed battles, distributed death lots among the warriors, and conducted the souls of slain heroes to Valhalla, the great hall of Odin.<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">The name "Valkyr" in itself is a metaphor, as it was supposed to create great heroes and warriors. All of the V-head ramblings, for the most part, tie in with Norse mythology. Or at least I can see how they would. "The flesh of fallen angels" is probably some reference to Valkyrie.
Which brings me to my conclusion. Now, I know that slim to none of the V-heads would have been educated on Norse mythology. My guess is the V-heads say those things because a) it sounds scary and b) it ties in with the Norse mythos theme.

.. and C) because Jack Lupino, the cult leader, has "educated" them.
