Story questions for Max Payne 1

Hello everyone.

Well, just finished Max Payne again, in time for the new game release. I assume that things like Woden's return and Mona's disapperance will be told. However, there are two questions that are kind of in the background that I hope get answered.

1) Just before Horne gives Max the shot of Valkyr, she says something along the lines of "This all wouldn't have happened if you're wife wasn't snooping around in the wrong places." What's going on there? Is there something with Max's wife that we didn't know?

2) Didn't Max pick up a tape in the Asgard building? What's the deal with that - does he still have it?

Well, I'm sure these can't really be answered - but let's try to hypothesize, shall we?

I think Max's wife knew somethings. In the prologue for Part 2 you walk over and read Michelle's diary. It says she got a dossier in the mail at the district attorneys office about vikings. So I guess she wasn't supposed to see that. She found out everything Max finds out during the whole game I think. But maybe in Max Payne 2 we will know more. Did that help you at all?

The whole shooting yourself part in Max Payne was due to him blaming himself for not taking the time to listen to what she was about to say one of the days, it's in a graphic novel I think. She's found out something about Aesir or so, and he didn't listen to it, she get's killed, and he blames himself.
