Oh, and i don't think the site dudes are newbies, i think it's because they have people e-mailing them saying:

Because the author stole from other people without crediting any of them, packaged up all their stuff and called it the Er4ser mod.

Basically took credit for others hard work.

well, i guess the creators of the mods who eraser has ripped stuff from, could write gamershell an email to take it down. this is really a punch in the face to all of those, because a lot of people who aren't into max payne communitys download this mod and think it's all the eraser guy's work. went through something similar quite some time ago and it really made me sad in a certain way.

but then again, this has happened before and will happen again, and life will still go on.

I read something about a kick being included in the changelogs, makes me wonder if he used some of my stuff too...

I won't point fingers as i haven't downloaded it and don't plan on it seeing as he has ripped fellow members of the mod community and any downloads that file gets make it worse.

Notes for Hellsing

This one is worth mentioning as it's the first total conversion of Max Payne 2, adding a custom storyline (based on the (popular?) anime series), 5 levels, new weapons and more. This mod is still a work-in-progress and to be honest doesn't use the MP2 engine to its full extent. But this being the first total conversion of the game we've found, had to be mentioned anyway. :-)

Hey, i actually played Hellsing today, and i was surprised that i actually loved it. I don't know if it was the pimp hat (?) or the red tint on everything, or that the hp of everyone had been hiked up 10x.

And keep in mind that i've never watched any anime series.

EDIT: Okay, now that i've played a map that's not a DMW level, i think that the mapping needs work.. But the gameplay is rather enjoying.

note: I also like the beginning movie.

I think it's based on Hellsing anime. I don't know if such a thing exists though, not my area.
