When ROTT was still in development, but moving close to release, it used to have a heap of alternate actors (such as female guards). These were eventually dropped though to the memory restrictions of the time, although they were left in late enough to appear in the manual and game credits.
Well, with those 4MB memory limitations far behind us, and with the source code for ROTT being around for quite some time. Would 3D Realms consider releasing the data files for those actors so that they can be added back into the game.
This all hinges on the assumption that you still have those files gathering dust somewhere, and that some copyright issue isn't going to thwart the idea, but I thought that I may as well ask.
Thanks.
