Like the topic says, what exactly does the HAVOK physics engine handle? Does it just handle how the people fall when shot, or does it control other things like objects when their blown up, glass shattering, etc?

If someone dies next to a ledge, their body will fall down and hang from it. Think of it as the limbs hang down from the ledge, that's what Havok does. It's a very advanced ragdoll physics system.

I've noticed people are wondering about this a lot. I can point you to the official information provided by Havok

Official site:
http://www.havok.com

Here's the features pdf, which sums it up nicely:

Until they develop new technology, they will probably not post new demos of old builds.

That skeleton thing is lame. They should have something that lets you freely place a body in a room full of objects and either make it collapse, knock it over, or pick up another object and throw it at the body, etc.

Something like that would work better for showing people what it can do, and not just some skeleton.

Only it's just a room with some boxes that you can stack and tumble over and a light that swings around when you hit it. Nothing special.
