Decals on bodies are not possible. It's hardcoded.
This topic has been covered several times already.

I thought so too but I saw something at the mpsourceforum (http://www.maxpaynesource.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=642) (cool site )
And it claims that it has hitwounds, I haven't dled it yet ( I dunno why ). But if it's true then ........ uber shootouts.

not sure I was ready for the shot of the headwound and scalp debris? The readme says it is er uh not fully functional yet?

The mod at MPSource only attaches the decals to the body after a certain number of hits, it doesn't actually determine where the hits are and any model type that is spawned after will have those decals attached regardless of if it's shot or not.

Doesn't look really good in my opinion.

it uses auto-aim to always shoot at the chest area with most weapons, so that the items (bullet hit sphere things) appear during certain animations.. its a nice attempt though, and then during cut scenes, since they happen the same way he's gone and modified cutscene animations to create items on areas of the body that get shot during them.
