I like the new music too. Except I thought it would sound "darker" instead it sounds "lighter" and more carefree. (sorry band terms.)

It cannot be a budget issue, because AOL is in fact one of the most expensive 56K/Broadband providers in comparison.

Second, try opening up Internet Explorer while you have AOL connected, and download it that way. Or you can try right-clicking and then clicking Save Target As. I hope that helps. images/icons/smile.gif

lol no,no budget issue!!!! i got it for free on my old computer for 6 months when i bought it and when i copied hd to my new computer it screwed up aol so now it is free!!!! images/icons/grin.gif so i'd rather not switch to something i have to pay for images/icons/tongue.gif

I like it better on Piano, but this version isn't bad. Ending seems kind of abrupt, but it definitely communicates that "Max Payne" feel.

During the graphic novels of MP1 I think it played the Max Payne theme, but used strings instead of a piano. Its just that the difference between that and the one on the MP2 site is that for the most part only one instrument is being used, and to me just seems a little slow and bland without other sounds in it.

After comparing the two, while I do like the version with the cello in Max Payne II,
I think the theme from Max Payne is definitely better.

The cello version sounds good, but it's a little...thin, kind of shallow.
While the original piano version from Max Payne has more layers, more depth,
a really nice textured quality to it. I find this more effective at setting the somber
atmosphere that surrounds Max Payne.
