images/icons/confused.gif http:// <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">How much is it? I would pay up to $60.00 for the game. Maybe even more since I want it so bad. This is the first game that I have been so anxious waiting for its release! Unfortunitaly I will have to wait till Christmas to get it. But somethings in life are worth the wait... images/icons/smile.gif

Can we only preorder the game for the PC? Or can we also preorder it for the PS2? images/icons/grin.gif I want to know.

It is 49.99$. Sounds normal, but it doesen't mean it is cheap. I think games are waaay to expensive these days.

$50.00? Hey thats not bad. A lot of new games when they first come out cost $60. Then their prices drop later. Yes games today are not cheap. But games take a lot of hard work and a long time to make.
If the game is good then it was worth every penny spent. But if not... well you get the picture. images/icons/smile.gif

$49.99's for the PC version, PS2/Xbox might be pricier. I don't know about other countries, but here in Finland console games usually cost 59 euros, while PC games are generally 50 e.

game prices have fallen from years ago....remember when a nintendo/supernintendo cartridge used to cost 70 dollars? Hopefully the prices will continue to drop.

Games used to cost a lot more several years ago, but the most expensive new PC game of recent memory that wasn't part of some deluxe or collector's pack was RtCW, which cost $55 at first, $5 more than any other new game. images/icons/smile.gif

Ah, if you choose your store (http://www.konsolinet.fi/) and payment method (online transfer) correctly, there are no shipment/handling costs.

3D Realms have my word that I am going to definately PAY for MP2. I purchased MP1 as well images/icons/smile.gif . I'm a Kazaa person (I admit), I dont want some crappy compressed version of the game. Im sure you guys at 3D Realms have put some kind of protection on the CD's to stop the file sharers spoiling what looks like is going to be a good game.

For me the reason I don't just kazaa my games is much simpler than not liking "crappy compressed versions". I simply don't like to steal.

I also very much enjoy buying music, movies, food, speakers, parts for my computer, headphones etc. Why steal anything at all?

I don't enjoy buying music. You pay 95% of the cd's which cost $25 (in stores, maybe like $15 on the net from abroad) for marketing crap artists you don't even like. And since they started this cannot be played on CD-ROMS crap they are getting less of my money.

I buy all good games that are worth the money though, don't play much else either. Examples are Mafia, GTA3, NWN, etc.

absolutemaxpayne.co.uk: There's no copy protection in the world which can keep crackers from removing the copy protection. I think it's a waste of money, although I believe it's smart to have the protection that makes it impossible to just normally copy the cd.
