Will max2 be like the original max was going to be?

I remember seeing a trailer along time a go of MP. It showed Max and a guy holding guns at each others necks, a motorcyclist, and a guy smoking a cigarette in a dark alley. This game looked extremely gritty and very cool. I thought the max we got was OK , not great, cause they changed it totaly and it was pretty disappointing going through a game wanting to see how these scenes played out, but they never did. You just ran through place after place mowing down enemies. Which was fun, but ultimatley lacking.

It will be like Max Payne, only improved in all the areas Remedy finds most important. All the "cool" things we saw in early Max Payne media was taken out either because:

a) it sucked
b) it didn't really work out
c) it worked, but not as well as Remedy wanted it to
