Hi..

First of all, I want to tell you that your mod REALLY rocks, its the coolest MP2M outhere.. I really hope that you will work further on it.

Heres the deal.

Im making a short action movie, in the Max Payne 2 world, and right now Im working on the trailer, and Im using your mod. Cinema 1.6

I havent released anything yet, first of all because its not finished, second of all, I dont have your permission.

If you accept that I use your mod in the movie, please tell me if you want to be in the credits, and what I can and cannot do.

dude- just scroll down a teeny bit. The Cinema 2.0 Pre-Beta Release thread should be right there, with TerminX right there in shiny green letters under 'thread starter.' Click on his name, then click on 'send this person a private message.' That will get you an answer a lot faster.

Well, I dont actually know who made the mods before now. So how should I do that? All it said in the readme, was to either contact him email, or on the 3drealms forum.

And yes, I recorded gameplay with FRAPS 2.0.

But I must say, the project turned into more of a music video, which is kinda promoting the Cinema mod. Because I think its the best mod, currently..

..you're the one who needs to calm down, kid. I said he could make it. I don't care. Perhaps you don't know what "sarcasm" is, but it's quite a common occurrence on the internet.

hmmm Im not going to start a flame war as I have said my piece, just to show good favour I love cinema 2.0 and Im glad someone finally took out them awful animations for getting blown up by a grenade, it looks 100% more real now, good job. Although I will say this you should deffo turn down the blood decals its nearly excessive blood mod amount of blood, good colour though

TerminX: Im in for surgery Thursday, and after that, I need to recover for a few days. But some of the footage have been captured, I just need a little more.

Okay, I will watch your movies, and make sure I dont copy anything from it.

But about the story line, or music vid. I dont actually know yet, I was thinking of making a video in level (Part 1, Chapter 8 - The Appartment) with a story line, where my charactor has to go kill some guy, for the bounty money.

But 2 days ago, I watched a movie called The Hit, which had kinda the same idea. Although the charactor was an assasin. The vid was badly cut and edited though.



And I want mine to be perfect, and I dont like the idea of stealing stuff, other people made.

So I dont really know, if Im going to make it with story line. Any suggestions??

Hmmm. I'm currently making a movie of 10 minutes, but this is with newly created levels. I've got script and storyboards complete, so this is more of a serious production. The storyline is about assassins also, but there's so much you can do with that premise. I don't want to give my plot away, but there's a lot you can do without making it look cliched or copied. Perhaps the fact that it's in MP2 is unique enough. Unless you copy exactly what someone else did, it's not stealing. After all, imitation is the greatest form of flattery, right?

In my opinion, you should go ahead and make that video. Don't worry about it being perfect, see it as practice. Then make your next one perfect. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
