Hi,

I have Windows XP and I wanted to play "Max Payne" again as a reminder for the upcoming sequel "Max Payne 2", but I have got some serious problems.

* When I wanna play the tutorial and/or the game itself I suddenly notice how the game shuts down and everything closes and I'm back outside the game and on my desktop!!

What can I do, please! I've tried everything! Even with the lowest of settings, it still does this!! And I happen to have a Pentium 4 with CPU of 2.40 GHz and 2.39 GHZ and 512 MB of RAM-memory.

Please!! I wanna play this game ASAP but I can't! Help me! I'm desperate!

Thank you very much!

Thank you very much! <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">What video card does your system have? Check for the latest sound and video card drivers as that usually solves the problem in addition to upgrading to v1.05.

Thanks!

Now, which one of these patches should I release or doesn't this matter really? I mean: there are quite many of them!

Help please!

Thanks, my friend!

Also, try going to www.nvidia.com, (http://www.nvidia.com,) and downloading some display drivers, so the game will work properly.

The file you're looking for is here (ftp://ftp.3drealms.com/patches/maxpayne1-05patch.exe).
