Got a strange problem here. Very frustrating. So I make a mesh dynamic right. Simple cube. I add a keyframe, slect it through the Keyframe menu and then position it where I want the keyframe to be. But then when I try to get back to the ORIGINAL keyframe, that one has been updated to the next keyframe as well.

Confused? Ok. I have a block of stone. It has two keyframes, up an down. Down is one meter below the up position and it is the default position. When I make the object dynamic, the default position is down. With me so far? Oooook... Now: I add a new keyframe and rename it as "up". Then I move the mesh one meter up so that it is in the "up" position. Howeverm when i go back to the Keyframe menu, (by pressing TAB), the "down" keyframe has ALSO been updated to the "up" position.

I experimented further. No matter how many keyframes I have, if I change one, all the rest are changed to the same keyframe to the same position. This implies that I can no longer make my objects dynamic, which is very annoying. Anyone have any idea how to counter this?

when do you use "N" and when do you not? That red border?

If you move things in N mode (the red border) only the current keyframe is affected, but when you move it without the N mode, you can alter the position of the whole animation.
