View Full Version : Bullet-Time Music Problems....
How can I get my music to stop echoing in bullet-time?
This is driving me crazy. My mod loads up fine but when I go into bullet-time the music starts like normal, and then goes haywire on me and starts to echo.
If this was not descriptive enough sorry, I`ll explain it all again, but right now I need a break from modding. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/brickwall.gif

when u put a_play3dsound make sure that there is a space after parenthesis...i.e. ( musicfile);";
thanks canada dry. but my I do have spaces like that in my txt file, but my music continues to repeat itself over and over. And then when I leave bullet-time the music still plays, but only this time it`s louder.
thanks for the help though, do you have anymore ideas on what I could do?

sounds like your heartbeatsound interval is way too short
change it to like, 1000000000000 and it should be fine
nope that still didn`t work. any more ideas? or could I upload my file here and get someone to help me on it?

yeah, attach the txt file and ill do it for you
ok here`s teh file, see what you can do with it. I left the default text on the music file names, (i.e. Slow_motion_heartbeat, or something like that).
anyway here`s the file, post here if you need some more info on this...

just copy paste on globalconfig..if it gets errors just erase all the side notes with the //'s i added to it, good luck and be sure to change your title to bulletsong
thanks for the help again canada dry. But, that still didn`t help me out. Well actually I`m not sure if it works or not, when I use that txt file you gave me, my game won`t load at all now. it gives me an engine init error everytime. I`m must not be doing something right, I know this muse be an incredibly easy thing to do, but not for me. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif

there is however a slight draw back with bullet time music.
lets say in the game your playing music. creating an atmosphere. for example in a dark placeand youve got the 'scary' music on and you want to jump into bullet time. its fine up until you get out of bullet time then that scary music you had playing will have stoped.

just a slight pointer.
thats why i took the bullet time music out of my mod.
you have a point playa. I can always use BT music for a small mod or something, but for my project I`ll do without it.
thanks for the help everyone!
