Hey everyone.

I've been thinking about getting into 3D animation and I want to know the best way to go about it.

I have 3D Max 6.. well access to it at my college.. and basically does anyone have any good sites that could help me get the gist of everything?

I'm also attending a 3D Animation conference on Friday night to give me some info on this course that is running near me, I'm thinking if it's financially wise for me to do it.

If it isn't I'll still like to get involved and possibly get good at it so I could lend my services to some MP2 mods.

So help me out here http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

3dsmax already ships with kickass tutorials. try them out first. they are all well written and got lots of images.

edit: and if you're talking about character animating, then dont miss out to download the character studio tutorial pack from the discreet webpage. regular animation tutorials are already included in the 3dsmax tutorials anyway.
