View Full Version : Why don't the Beretta slides come back?

I just noticed this in game, the Desert Eagle slides come back to release the casings, but not with the Berettas. Why did Remedy not incorporate this into the game, and is there a mod that effects that and only that?

Remedy screwed up and included the wrong .kf2 file.

I'm aware on the Cinema mod, I was wondering if there was just a seperate mod that changed the Beretta slides alone. I know it sounds pointless, but I'd just like to play the game with them.

an old workaround is using the beretta animations from Max Payne 1 and substituting them...and it makes the SINGLE beretta work. But thanks to in a double mistake....they used the wrong animation for akimbo berettas. So they won't use the normal animation. I think the only proper way is to re-animate the gun...which remedy prob thought we would do but nobody has been motivated enough to do so.

It's re-animated in an unreleased version of Cinema.

Term..dude...u sure u cancelled cinema?? It sounds like u have enough new content to warrant another release. What was it you were wanting to do next with it?

The only things done since Cinema 2 pre were bugfixes. There isn't really much to release, as the engine isn't flexible enough for what I want to do.

ask them, but, why did you want them to do this, in tps you don't see the weapon animation. I don't think they will lose their time to make this imo

I've been asking (http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=378319&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=93&fpart=1) them to fix it for a very long time. Doesn't seem like they're gonna do it.
