Hi there,
First of all I'm new here, so I want to say hello to everyone!
Here's my question:
I've made a cinematic, but when the cinematic is finished, my camera stays visible, what am I doing wrong?
There's a screen of my problem in the attachment.
Hope you can help me http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

PS. I followed the steps of Kipsta's Cinematic tut..

Is the texture on the camera a dummy texture?

tick do not render

now have a closer look at your screenshot once again...
either tick on do not render, or put texture from the dummy category on the camera.

and hidden doesn't really need to be ticked, as this option applies only to maxed. and i assume that you don't really want to hide your camera in maxed if you wanna work with it.

I've got it working thanks to talkred5000.. I just needed to put ::startroom::camera1->DO_Hide(true); in my end timer. Anyway thx everyone for your help http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

But the point is that it's a dummy texture you use... http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I just use the camera texture in the Textures/Indicators map, dunno of it's a dummy texture..

Nothing is a dummy texture unless it is in the material category "dummy"... http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

and there's a Collision texture for camera with its own material category that keeps the default camera from going through stuff.

(I use kipsta's camera texture for my cameras *G*)
