MP2 Modding Tutorial complete?

Remedy, it has been 4 months since the last tutorial update has been made to Max Payne 2 modding. I was wondering if the tutorial is actually complete already. I looked at the tutorial for Max Payne 1 modding and saw the final version at 1.01 and was wondering if Remedy would also indicate on the second Max Payne modding tutorial as to whether or not it is complete. Right now it seems the current version is 0.7 and it still says that more articles and updates will be done for this tutorial. I feel more comfortable modding once the tutorial is actually complete.

I think it is quite safe to say that as far as Remedy is concerned no additional tutorials are needed. Ever since they posted Mixuk's article on optimization and the lighting tutorial I am sure they consider the whole suite finished, nevermind the lack of a 1.0 mark.

Besides, at this point (nearly one year after the MP2 release) these guys are really not that familiar with the MP2 tech as they used to be. They have moved on to another project and onto another tech/tools.

Remedy hasn't updated that tutorial in a really long time. I personally feel that it will never be updated again.

I must say that now is the perfect time to start modding. Remedy provided a set of tutorials to get you started, but there are a lot of sites with MP2 tutorials that are, imo, superior to remedys.

Plus alot of the most important modding questions have been asked already and are just waiting for people to do a search and find them in the forums.

Maybe after the contest mod winners are published Remedy will get so many new questioners that they'll release a couple of helpful .lv2s. (One can dream can't one? *G*)
