View Full Version : Meshes that move in and out of the map?

I've been testing out DO's and animates. I made a standard tree shaped lift. Now the "Stem" of the lift goes out the bottom of the map.

my question is, is it better to make a hole for the stem to go down into, or is it ok for dynamic meshes to move outside the map's boundries?

it would be fine, but I dont think autogroup would work, youd have to group them manually.

If its a prefab, make sure the prefab parent is inside your level. I have stuff hanging outside sometimes but for lighting purposes I move it inside with a special animation?
