should have been studying, but what are you going to do about it?

Oh yeah, in a magazine we have here called APC (Australian Personnel Computer) they had the best and worst FPS.
The best included Duke Nukem 3D.
The worst included Blood, Shadow Warrior, and top of the list was Ken's Labrynth.

James, if I were a chick, I'd hop in your lap. Let me buy you a round of intangible cyber-beers.
That list is bunk of course. So are PC Gamer's scores for that matter, but at least they're taken in accordance with what the current technology was at the time of release.

I was reading another magazine the other day (I think it was PC Powerplay) and they had the top 100 games... Duke 3D was 99! http://www.3drealms.com/ubb/images/icons/frown.gif

So, is this the original BUILD engine you're working with?

I had to change bits of the original build engine for this one so that I can tell it when to draw the floor or not, and also to force it to draw the hidden sectors. Normally you have to stand over the hidden sector, but not anymore.
The beer will do fine thanks Usurper, but that would be about it. http://www.3drealms.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif

Ken Silverman's Worm Voxel.
It looks cute, so I left it in there. http://www.3drealms.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif

Is it possible for the enemies to "see" you on the other floor?

Not as yet, I am still changing the hitscan function to ignore the non-drawn floors.

Ah. Heh, as long as you seem to have the inner-workings of the build code figured out, here's the age-old question again: is it possible to do more than 2 stacked sectors for the "true sector over sector effect"?

Yes, so far so good.
Except that it currently has to use flat joining surfaces, and the bad guys still can't see through the sectors. http://www.3drealms.com/ubb/images/icons/frown.gif
