How do you change blood/gun sounds?

I just wanna know if anyone knows of any tuts that can help me add more blood to the game, like the excesive blood mod or something, and how do you go about changing gun sounds??

For the blood I don't know, but about the weapons sounds you'll have to replace the .wav files located in the data/database/sounds/weapons folder by others
in the same format. (The best way should be to copy them, edit them, paste your sound in it to replace the old sound, save it at the same format than the original file, and replace the original .wav file with the one you edited...) This way if there is some markers or something you could keep them intact, just changing the sound they play (I haven't edited a weapon sound yet so I don't know if it is only a sound or if it has markers and regions). There, I hope I was clear enought, you should use SoundForge or a tool like that.
Maybe a better modder would know a better way, wait for infos...
