Metroid Mod

I "MIGHT" now thats a BIIIG might try and make a Metroid mod cause i think i've clocked mods now. But i am not promising anything since this is my first try but anyway, ill keep ya posted bout anything ok. Ok you ok with that ok OK then

Don't know whether to have first person like Prime for third like Super metroid, not like 2d but normal mp2 thirdperson

I say dont make it 1st person. You dont even need to change the gameplay...just make the different arm cannons, a metroid skin, some enemies and levels, and it can be a more action oriented metriod. You really dont need to modify the gameplay at all (well i guess tweak bullet time)

Wait...one thing to change. Replace the shootdodges with rolls and provide cover so you can roll from cover to cover while shooting at the aliens or whatnot. I'd be glad to learn how to mod just to work with this mod http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif. All I know now is how the make the MOST BASIC LEVEL.

I say just normal third person. If you want to make a max payne mod of somthing you do it so you can have a max payne version. Other wise just buy the game.

Yes that's why I said you should keep it more action oriened. The Max Payne engine was not designed with something like an adventure or RPG in mind, so dont force it to be one. Well, I having almost no knowledge of modding, it just looks like a sequence of words and numbers. But I guess it works, so it's fine.....?
