Well, shouldn't this policy apply to all CDs you own, not just the Max Payne one?
(Except for the free junk mail CDs, to which I do many terrible, horrible things. Ever put a CD into a microwave oven? images/icons/grin.gif )

http://www.plauder-smilies.de/laugh.gif Your question reminds me of the underlying nature of that one person who posted a thread asking whether anyone here makes backup copies of their game discs. My reply was no, I take very good care of my discs and never lend them to anyone, althought I suspected his question may have had to do with more....dubious intents.
Yes, I take good care of my discs. I keep the most frequently used ones in my storage on my CPU, and the rest I keep in their respective cases. I never leave them out in the open (as for my audio cds, well that that's another story).

Roflmao! The only thing I do with junk CD's is put my coffee cup on them... Now my mind is hard at work trying to think what else I can do to one. images/icons/grin.gif
Scratch the jewel case? Mine looks like the DVD rentals which are indestructable. I take care of my CD's bigtime!
Peace

My friends and I burn CD's, and not in the CR-R burning sort of way. We have an old firepit in the back yard and we put 2 or 3 logs of firewood in and get them going. Then we hold some AOL cd's over them with plyers and melt them into odd shapes.

Not just that, some really interesting patterns are created in the aluminium layer of the CD! But you should only run it for a few seconds to avoid any nastier results.
STANDARD ISSUE DISCLAIMER: You do this at your own risk.

My brother has this big cd holder that he keeps all his games in (so he can bring them to my house, of course images/icons/grin.gif ).....all his games except one. Max Payne stays in it's pretty pretty case on his shelf with his DVD movies, PS2 games, and GameCube games. We treat Max Payne the way he deserves to be treated.
BTW Dude, I pick up about 20 of those "AOL 1000 FREE HOURS!" disks and figure out new, fun ways to "use" them...such as frisbee, coaster, ceiling-fan mobile, and super frisbee...naturally using the microwave to make burnt frisbees would have to wait until my mother isn't home. images/icons/grin.gif

I'm anally retentive when it comes to cd's, I still have audio cd's that are unscratched and dont even have fingerprints on them that are over 10 years old, and I still listen to them constantly, in fact the very first cd I bought, Metallica's Kill'em All, is flawless...

I wish my copy of that cd was in as good of condition.
