Help! I have built several maps now and on occasion, I find that the maps simply will not load. I cannot play them nor can I enter build and modify them. They simply will not open. How can I repair whatever is wronmg with these maps? Has anyone else had a similar problem? Thanks!

It looks like you have gone over the 1024 sector limit.
You need to use a build editor that has a higher limit than this, and then delete the sectors so that they are under 1024 again. Duke3D should then be able to load the map once again.

Thanks. That would make sense. This map is quite large. It is an entire city with moving vehicles and a subway system. So where would I be able to find a larger build editor? Is there some way that I could get into my existing map through some other means to delete this extra sectors?

Maybe your maps freeze because they SUCK!
Actually, I think that every map that freezes prolly freezes only because it sucks ass so much. I tell ya, computer AI is really somethin' else!
