Firefly

As much as I hate trying to make a movie into a game, I picked up the befor-its-time Firefly DVD collection and can't help but think it would make for an interesting MP2 team effort?

But I unfortunately can't work on any levels for it until I finish my current project.

Any other western/sci-fi enthusiasts out there or has the LA heatwave got to me brain? *LOL*

Have you read The Gunslinger. Greatest book ever. Well its one of my favorites. Awesome western/sci-fi/and soem fantasy(like the guy he is chasing is a grim reaper who can bring people back to the dead and corrupt them)


haven't seen firefly yet though. I thought it was a stupid kevin kostner movie, but it must share the same name with it.

but yeah, western scifi mod would rule.

Firefly is (was) scifi/western tv series. whit few episodes. Although only few of them had anything to do whit western at al.

yeppers, thought the same thing myself, only watched a couple when it originaly aired, probably got its timeslot moved around alot.

All in all 14 episodes, three never aired, I like the terrafarming western cheap sets, doable spacecraft, Cold Mountain style music (and no aliens!)

Just seems to me a good match for MP2 assets, especially if done in a classic Mobius Metal Hurlant manner but certainly a niche audiennce for the game mod (if any *LOL* I wonder if Josh Whedon would okay the project - I am a big fan of his writing/directing!)

Looks like Josh Wedon's Firefly will become a full length movie. (Probably have the same game developers as Buffy) oh well, will look into The Gunslingers anime next *G* opps, you're talking about the Stephen King series?
