Getting start trouble

My vga is a ati radeon 9200.

I had updated my pc, installed the 1.05 patch, set windows 2000 compatibility mode and updated the graphic drivers, the menu is ok, but when max payne load the game intro (the one with the helicopter) it just crash into windows desktop. What that trouble can be? What should i do?

Does the game crash while loading the level or while the helicopter is flying?
