Hello All. Do you think it would be possible to make a HL2 mod or just a Manipulator (gravity gun) If so can some one.

Ofcourse it is. But it wont be done without a proper Gordon Freeman model. Cheap texture manipulation is not enuf to make a proper freeman model since its totally out of the mp scene.
Talking bout the gravity gun, its not fully possible coz it uses a special type of coding system and unfortunately the coding system of all the guns(or somewhat similar stuff) are hardcoded. Though reading ur post is making me think of an idea through which u can partially make it possible. Maybe I shouldn't spit rubbish right now coz I'm not a coder and can never be sure.

it would be possible to move stuff around, but not nesassarily grab and lift it. Concept is simple...just think ofhaving the gravity gun with a huge invisible pole that emits pressure waves every .1 seconds when your holding the trigger.

Yeah CD I was thinkin of somthin similar. Basically what the main problem would though be is that it would be completely uncontrollable. My idea specifically was:-
1. Make a somewhat new gun with a rapid fire like that of the ingram with infinite ammo and no reload.
2. Change the sound and remove/change the muzzle flash particles.
3. Make a new bullet for it so its not at all visible.
4. Make the bullet so that it doesn't collide to any DO or characters. This way the effect could be interesting as otherwise it would only seem to strike off enemies and objects from the front.
5. Lastly as CD said have a pressure wave when it hits any static mesh.
