Need help building a level

im smart but not smart enough 2 make my own level!someone help me!!!!!!!!

i need a detailed instruction plan down so i can build the best damn levels for all!!!!!!!!!1

That's not funny. Build is probably the easiest editor for 3D-action games.

shotme98: I doubt very much anybody would want to build your level for you. Why would they want to invest 100's of hours of work on somebody else's idea?

I have a half finished level of my own that has been sitting on my hard drive for 2 years and it a peach of an idea http://www.3drealms.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif

Maybe I should shut up and go finish it.....

If you don't read the docs, then forget trying to build a map.

It's to complex (not that build is difficult) to tell you how to build a map in this forum.

Well, why not to help a new builder?
It's such pleasure to make own map. I know the feeling when first played my own stuff.
Okay, here's instructions:
Turn on computer. http://www.3drealms.com/ubb/images/icons/grin.gif
Yeah, yeah, I know it was funny.
After launching build you've see black grid.
Use space to draw a closed sector, and put the white arrow (player) inside sector.
Press ScrollLock to set starting position.
Now you can save your map, exit editor and load Duke from setup (user map select) or direct by command:
duke3d.exe map yourmap.map
Congratulations! It's your cool map!
Now you can upload it and share with rest of the WWWorld!
